Offers a multitude of health-promoting programs directed at youth, parents and the community. Programs are provided to each public and private school in New Canaan on an ongoing basis. This community group consists of youth from 8th–12th grades, parents, town officials, human and youth service workers, police, school personnel, local therapists, attorneys, representatives from faith communities, and others. They come together to brainstorm issues regarding youth and high-risk behavior, namely substance abuse. This group also provides educational forums for youth and parents with current research and strategies for prevention in the home.

www.rtor.org provides mental health information and referrals to behavioral health treatment and other supports –we get over 30,000 visits to the website monthly. We have Resource Specialists who are available by phone or email to provide personalized assistance to families to connect them with help -this is a free service and available to anyone who contacts us from across the US. Although our website has a national reach, we are based in Stamford out of Laurel House and work most closely with families living in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
